The New River is one of the nation’s foremost rivers for smallmouth and Tangent Outfitters has decades of professional guiding experience. You will get HOOKED! We have been guiding on the New River since 1992 and love to share our knowledge of the New River with other anglers.
Spin Fishing Trip
Just sit back and cast away as your guide puts you on the fish. You and your partner will be in either a self-bailing raft or cataraft specifically designed for float fishing. Whether we throw a spinner, crank, or jerk bait, we will get you down the river in comfort and style. Bring any tackle and rods you may have and we will compliment, supplement, or totally outfit you for the day. For smallmouth we recommend a medium action spinning rod with an 8lb test.
